The right sequence in a compact room

In a small bathroom, carpentry, floor construction, pipework, drainage, underfloor heating and surface finishes must be coordinated with the relevant specialist trades in the correct sequence. The photographs show several of the layers that are later concealed.

From technical build-up to a calm finish

Light timber surfaces, grey tiles and black details give the completed room a simple, practical character. Waterproofing in wet areas and at junctions was completed in stages before the visible finishes were installed.
